What is Wellcare Dual Align 129? ›

Wellcare Dual Align 129 (HMO D-SNP) is a HMO D-SNP Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C) plan offered by WellCare Health Plans, Inc. * Every year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, Centene's Medicare brands, including Allwell, Health Net, Fidelis Care, Trillium Advantage, 'Ohana Health Plan, and TexanPlus will transition to the Wellcare brand. For more information about Wellcare, visit www.wellcare.com .

WellCare's Value Script plan has the lowest monthly premium and no deductible for drugs in tiers one and two. It may be best for you if you don't need prescription drugs but need prescription drug coverage to avoid paying late penalties. The Value Plus plan has a higher monthly premium but no annual deductible.

Centene acquired Wellcare in January 2020.
