Had the fish and chips and the wife had a burger. Both delicious. Kids had hand made chicken strips that were very delicious. They had seating inside but we chose to sit out on the beach on picnic tables. Plenty of shade and a great view of the beach. I can't speak more highly of this place. If we ever make it back to the island we will definitely return.

What a fantastic meal. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely on point. We started with the Voodoo Shrimp which were perfect. Instead of drowning them in sauce like other restaurants, they serve the sauce on the side so the shrimp stay crispy and you can control how much sauce you want. The fish tacos were among the best I've ever had and the fish and chips were equally scrumptious. So glad we happened on this place, will definitely be back!

I understand the hustle but sometimes it just overstimulating and I run the other way.That was not the case with the owner, Nik, of the Lazy Lizard. We walked by his restaurant/bar and he was very pleasant and talked to us about his menu. I told him we would be back, which I am sure he hears hundreds times a day and people never return. He was courteous and NEVER pushy.We walked about 50 feet away and something told me to go back. We went back and grabbed a table on the beach and he told us to take our time and order when we were ready because they were still getting things set from the night before. We had a chance to talk with him a lot and watch him engage with the other tourists. Never once was he anything but gracious and pleasant.The menu was outstanding and the drinks were amazing. He brought his son out to help clear the table as we made our way through the meal and drinks. What a well mannered young man.So, friends, if you are travelling to this island, you cannot miss out on this treasure. Once you get off the ferry pier, take a right past all the shopping and his restaurant is on the left almost at the end.My top choices - rum punch and the cauliflower bites with the banana vanilla bbq sauce. Seriously - chef’s kiss!!!!

We came out LL on the recommendation of a local bartender (@Lux Bar). She was so right, "elevated bar food" was a great description. My biggest regret is not taking before photos of the food! We had Caesar salad, which we topped with an appetizer order of chicken satay. The chicken was perfectly sauced and cooked just right. We didn't need, nor use, the side of sauce. Next came fried shrimp, oh boy, they were absolutely amazing. They were fresh, big and fried just enough with a crust that was so light and flaky, there was much less crust than surface of shrimp. Best shrimp we've ever had and that's saying a lot as we live in a place where shrimp boats are the norm. Next up, a basket of wings with jerk. My husband is not a big fan of jerk, but he was swayed on the recommendation by the bartender. He ate like they were the last wings on earth. He gave them a 100% seal of approval. For a cocktail, we each had two of their special old fashions, again, perfect. If you only stop in for a bite go for the lightly fried shrimp! Don't overlook Lazy Lizard...it lived up to its hype! Elevated bar food it is! Wish we'd been there long enough to experience a second, or third+, meal!

One of our best experiences on the island. The food was absolutely tremendous. We were able to get a picnic table on the beach and the shade with an iguana in the background. We had the fish and chips. The ribs. The chicken wings. The jerk chicken, Philly cheese, steak and the chicken curry. Everything was excellent. We topped it off with some SXM beer as well as the guava berry coladas. The owner was very friendly and gave us some recommendations around the island. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Jan. 11, 2024 - Sint MaartenWe ate here during a cruise port stop. The jerk wings were the some of the best, if not the best wings I have ever had! I have eaten wings at Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY and many other places, trying different flavors of wings. Lazy Lizard's were by far some of the best!! The wings were very flavorful, without too much of the heat that some jerk chicken has.

This place is amazing. If you are ever in the area you have to give this place a try. The ultimate Margarita is phenomenal. The chicken Satay was so delicious. Lazy Lizard I will definitely be back. You guys rock.
